CASE STUDY: Vault Replacement Project

Scope of Work

INTREN replaced 15 vaults in Chicago. Each location required INTREN to remove the old vault and replace it with a new fabricated vault. After the new vault was installed, INTREN welded in all the new piping and control fitting, and then assisted in restoring gas to the system.

 

Unusual Challenges
One of the main challenges we faced was working in congested area. We needed to work diligently and maintain a safe work environment at all times. To help maintain a safe work area, we used 6ft fencing around the perimeter of the job site to keep unauthorized individuals from entering the area.
