Trench-It is a founding member of the North Eastern Illinois Damage Prevention Council. Trench-It executive Matt Turk serves as the current President of the council.

National Underground Contractors Association (NUCA)
NUCA is a national contractors association whose members build, install, and maintain the nation's underground utility systems, including water, sewer, gas, cable, and telecommunications lines. As an association, NUCA offers many member benefits and services. Safety training materials, industry education and training, group property/liability insurance, representation on Capitol Hill, an annual convention and exhibit, and industry publications, manuals, and videos are just a few of the programs and services available to members.

National Safety Council
The National Safety Council's mission is "to educate and influence society to adopt safety, health and environmental policies, practices and procedures that prevent and mitigate human suffering and economic losses arising from preventable causes." The Council has been working for generations to protect lives and promote health with innovative programs. The Council is a nonprofit, non-governmental, international public service organization dedicated to improving the safety, health and environmental well-being of all people
